Our Story
White Oak Home was built on the belief that building a home should feel as thoughtful as the home itself. Led by Chris Kerr, our team combines decades of construction experience with a deep appreciation for timeless design, craftsmanship, and communication. We believe the details matter, from the first conversation to the final walkthrough, creating homes that feel like they’ve always belonged.

Absolutely. We have wonderful relationships with architects throughout the South Shore and beyond. Whether you already have an architect selected or need a recommendation, we enjoy being part of a collaborative team and work closely with architects throughout the process

We offer preconstruction services to help map out the best path forward based on your goals, budget, and project needs. While we are primarily a builder, we work closely with architects and design professionals to bring projects to life.

Our preconstruction process is designed to create clarity before construction begins. Depending on the project, this may include site visits, measuring existing spaces, schematic layouts, scope development, preliminary budgeting, finish and allowance planning, value engineering opportunities, scheduling, logistics planning, coordination with architects and consultants, and identifying potential challenges early. Our goal is to create a thoughtful roadmap so decisions are made proactively rather than reactively.
